Rebel Bass

Introducing: Alex Session

We sat down with the enigmatic, rising London-based producer and FOMO Records boss, Alex Session to discuss new music, history and what’s on the horizon for this emerging talent…

Hey Alex! How you doing, mate?
I’m very well thank you bro, busy!
Sick to hear! So how long has the Alex Session project been going on for?
On and off about 3 years now.
You used to produce under ‘Noisses’. What made you transition from Noisses to Alex Session?
The Noisses project was great, but felt like it was heading in a direction I no longer wanted to go in, and when thinking of a new name, well I have been called DJ session since i was 16, so it was a natural progression!
What’s going on with your new label FOMO?
Initially it’s been a platform for me to put out music that is slightly more left field, so to speak, a bit of artist freedom! I would love to release other artists too, once I hear something that grabs me I will.
Sounds promising! What have you got going on at the moment?
Well, ‘Move‘, featuring the vocal talents of Graziella has just dropped on Punks, which I’m excited about!
Also, Oliver Heldens picked up a track to be released on Spinnin’ Records called ‘Don’t Want Your Love’, I just released a 4 track EP on FOMO, called Square Ensemble, plus loads in the pipeline!!!
Sounds like a busy 2018 on the horizon! I look forward to hearing it all, bro!
